Shu Akimoto graduated at the top of jazz`s class from Senzoku College of Music in Japan in 2014.

He appeared Wacken Open Air 2013 as [Mysterious Priestess], also Montreux Jazz Festival Japan in 2017 as project of Naruyoshi Kikuchi with Axel Tosca. At 2020, he stayed Reykjavík, inspired.

At 2024, played THE FIRST TAKE : Hasegawa Hakushi.

His play style was studied under Dairiki Hara, Masanobu Iwane.
